Talented fiber Artisan, Lolly Sesco, began sewing at the age of 12 and continued sewing part-time during her 20 year nursing career. When her children were young, she sewed all their clothes from her imagination. She laughingly tells how the children hated their hand made clothes and begged her to stop! She also sewed her own drapes, re-covered chairs and made colorful pillows. She began to have a following which led her to believe that she could sew for a living.
This imaginitive artist has been so inspired by textile artists around the worlkd that she startd to experiment with fabric design, applique, and collage.
